Do key words & meta tags in site builder work? How does it work with those at the bottom of a website page?

We just had a website company review our web site & added key words and links to our website on some of the pages. There are also places in site builder/properties to enter similar things. Does google pick all of that up?

    The crawler from google pick them all.
    But you must be patient, it needs some time.
    Its faster to declare your site to google;))
