Nearly everyone i have talked to about this say that in order to start a proper serouis business online you must build the site yourself or get a web designer.
I am currently using a site builder called (website tonight) and i have created a site that i am 100% happy with and it looks very professional.
I am starting an online directory website where people pay me to list their company.
I have enough pages to do it so whats the problem? I don’t understand.
Thanks! ;D!

im building a site and i downloaded some buttons for use in my site,
The instruction says::
Installation :
——————————————————————————–
1. Create the button’s folder, and put button images in it.
The button’s folder must be in the same directory as the web page that will display your menu. For example :
If your web page is here
e.g)
http://www.mydomain.com/index.html
Your button’s folder must be here
e.g)
http://www.mydomain.com/buttons/
but when i click “Upload a file” on my web page builder , it says no such file. Logically, the upload is for files, not folders,. so how do i upload a folder?

I have my own website for my photography business that I’ve created through Yahoo
site builder. I’ve also used Adobe Lightroom to FTP upload slideshows to certain pages. I don’t know what I’ve done, but somehow I have messed up the files. I have emailed Yahoo for help, but just wondered if anyone out there would have a quick answer for this. Basically if I leave off the “www” before my web address it works. If I type it straight out www.savvyshots.net, I get an error saying webpage not found. How could that be? I thought all addresses started with “www”. lol Thanks for reading!

I have been using geocities for the longest. And now that they
are closing, I know no better free web host. But I recently
decided that I might as well get a real website after being
linked to Yahoo Small Business on Geocities.
So before I spend any money, any of you have any experience
with it? Does it use the page builder from geocities? Can I make
my web pages from scratch with html? How does it stack up to
the other domain host out there? Any major issues to know about?
Anything that sets it apart from the others?
If you know any better host, please let me know and
please leave a review if you can. As well as one for Yahoo
Small Business.

I have a small business and need a user friendly ( perhaps
site builder ) web hosting that’s easy and ( not necessary ) would like to have streaming video and pay pal option. I don’t think Yahoo can do video. I have Startlogic and its kinda confusing. Had help from a friend . www.asapest.com

I’m looking for a WYSIWYG HTML editor/builder that has a drag-and-drop interface, & can have addons/extensions/plugins (specifically a lightbox) added to it. I have been using WYSIWYG web builder 5 for a while, but have found out that it exports my navigation area’s images as a series of about 12 images for each page that it’s on, I end up with about 96 of the same set of images.
I’m looking for something like WYSIWYG web builder 5, but doesn’t export a heck-load of the same images

I am looking for a reliable
website builder and marketer with a reasonable price to teach me how to build a website and market it for e-commerce. I have read several books of online storefronts and I have found several companies offering this, but all seem to be a scam. Does anyone have any ideas?

I found an awesome flash template on a site. It is absolutely perfect for the style and content of my site, but all of the hosting sites I’ve been to have their own site-builders or templates that are the only ones compatible with it. I am not sure how exactly to start a website, I know I need a domain name, and hosting services…but…do they all have to be from the same place? Where can I find a good hosting service?
